Fitness Background:

My fitness lifestyle began at the very young age of 4 years old when I began playing football. I grew up in an environment full of competition between my family who would push me to get better constantly. When I reached high school, I got involved with wrestling in addition to football and would go on to place top 8 in Alabama in my junior and senior seasons which led to a few small college offers. I would ultimately enroll in Jacksonville State to walk on the football team where I played for two seasons until I decided to devote my time to a career in the fitness industry. I’ve always known that I wanted to always be involved with sports and fitness so I pursued a B.S. degree in Exercise Science and Wellness and then became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA.

Training Experience:

I am extremely passionate about my own fitness journey, but I believe there is nothing more rewarding than helping another person achieve their fitness goals whether it be for health, development in sports, or general fitness. As a result of my experience and schooling, I’ve learned how to design a training and nutrition program to improve performance in any activity. After playing contact sports for over 16 years I had built quite a list of injuries that taught me how the body reacts to treatment from many angles. This encouraged me to develop skills in administering tests to determine muscle deficiencies after injury or inactivity and how to rehab the individual to reach the peak of their performance capabilities. Although my training/coaching career is just getting started, I have worked with numerous male and female clients of all ages and experience. Over the last 5 years I have worked with beginners who have never stepped foot in a gym, all the way up to professional athletes and I plan on continuing to improve people’s lifestyles with fitness for decades to come!
